Kaitlin’s Stargazing Shed
Near Boston, Kaitlin and her husband just replaced the old shed in their backyard with a new shed that she hopes will become a romantic, astronomy-themed she-shed within a budget of $8,000. To give Kaitlin plenty of room to view the sky, Sarah opens up the side of the shed wall and installs two carriage doors. A mobile living room on a rolling platform allows the couple to move their relaxation outside, under the open sky. Inside the shed, a custom fiber-optic light panel on the ceiling and a custom starscape wall create a celestial atmosphere while a zero-gravity suspended bed adds a romantic touch. On the patio, an outdoor fire pit will keep the stargazers warm and cozy.
Ozzie’s Sci-Fi Office
In Texas, sci-fi fanatic Ozzie wants a sleek, futuristic spaceship he-shed that won’t interfere with his wife’s idea of home. Since building sheds is what Ozzie does for a living, he’s already framed out the shed and envisions using the space as an office and an out-of-this-world escape from the everyday. Ozzie also has a budget of $8,000, and Luke uses it to install a custom-designed automated door and seamlessly blends the floor, walls and ceiling to make the shed feel more futuristic. Custom lighting emanates from the floor, and space-age technology allows for the glass in the back window to be changed from clear to opaque with the flip of a switch.Build with LP!
