The Business
Jeff Hanesworth began Mountain Standard Homes in Fort Collins, Colorado, in 2016 as a natural career evolution that combined his 26-year construction and real estate background with his deep-rooted interest in home design. Inspired by the surrounding Rocky Mountains, Mountain Standard Homes specializes in modern mountain living with high-end, quality finishes that balance luxury and affordability.
The Build
The Little Branch Townhomes are the result of a longstanding partnership between Mountain Standard Homes and local architecture firm Red Pencil. Working hand-in-hand to bring Hanesworth’s creative concept to life, this project marks Mountain Standard Home’s first time applying its signature Modern Farmhouse style to a multifamily build.
Hanesworth selected LP® SmartSide® Vertical Board and Batten, LP® SmartSide® Horizontal Lap, LP® SmartSide® Soffit and LP® SmartSide® Trim & Fascia to bring the contemporary farmhouse design to life. This combination of products blends defined lines and bold colors to create a cohesive look for a truly modern townhome feel.
