How It Works
- Log in to Zapier
- Access your Zapier dashboard
- Create a New Zap
- Click “Make a Zap”
- Set Cognito Forms as the Trigger
- Choose “Cognito Forms → New Entry,” then connect and select the form
- Add TextMagic as the Action
- Select “Send SMS” in the TextMagic app
- Connect your TextMagic account with your API key
- Configure SMS Parameters
- Choose the “To” number (dynamic from form or fixed) and craft the message with form fields
- Test the Zap
- Submit a sample entry and confirm the SMS is delivered
- Activate the Zap
- Turn on the Zap to enable live SMS dispatch

- Access your Make dashboard
- Create a New Scenario
- Click “Create a new scenario”
- Set Cognito Forms as the Trigger
- Add the “Watch New Entries” module for Cognito Forms
- Use the Create a Webhook / Choose a hook and select your form
- Add TextMagic as the Action
- Insert the “Send SMS” module for TextMagic
- Connect your TextMagic account using your API key
- Configure SMS Details
- Set the “To” number (map from a form field) and the message body using form data
- Test the Scenario
- Run it once, submit a form entry, and verify SMS receipt
- Activate the Scenario
- Save and enable the scenario for automated SMS alerts
