How It Works
- Enable Google Maps APIs
- Log in to your Google Cloud account
- Navigate to the API Library and enable the Maps JavaScript API and Places API
- Create and Configure API Key
- In the Google Cloud Console, go to APIs & Services > Credentials
- Click Create Credentials and select API key
- Restrict the API key:
- Under Application restrictions, select HTTP referrers (web sites) and add *.cognitoforms.com/*
- Under API restrictions, select Restrict key and choose both Maps JavaScript API and Places API
- Save the API key
- Enable Address Autocomplete in Form
- Open the form builder and add an Address field
- Click on the Address field to edit its settings
- Toggle on Address Autocomplete
- Enter API key
- Optionally, set a default country and remove the Country subfield to limit suggestions to a specific country
- Test the Integration
- Preview your form
- Begin typing an address in the Address field to see real-time suggestions
- Select a suggested address to auto-fill the address fields
